After earning her doctorate of dental surgery at the University of Maryland, she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at New York University. Guided by the advice of her father, a physician, who told her, “Treat every patient like they are a member of our family,” Dr. Roya opened Smile Valley Pediatric Dentistry in Washington, DC in 2009. She remembers her father’s words each and every day.
